The Democratic Party is a political party in the U.S. In the U.S, it is widely considered to be center-left, however, internationally, it is often seen as center-right neoliberals. The Democrats have various caucuses, ranging from neoliberals, centrists, conservatives (Blue Dog Democrats), and social-democrats. The Democrats were initially conservative, with the Republicans being the more liberal party, before the parties slowly began to flip around the time of the 1930s with FDR and his New Deal social-democratic policies, and by the 1980s, the Republicans has become right-wing Conservatives, while the Democrats had become center-left/center, before proceeding to move towards neoliberal policies during the 1990s under Bill Clinton.
